The Lazy K CMC 25th Anniversary Party

25th October 2008
saw the Lazy K CMC’s 25th Anniversary Party. The Lazy K Country Music Club was formed in October 1983 by Janet and Pat Kane and John Collis; along with a committee to promote country music in the surrounding area of Haverhill. The original home for the club was the Haverhill Rovers Clubhouse, but in June 1994 when the club outgrew the venue it moved to Grampian Sports and Social club, which; to this day, remains the Lazy K’s home.
Lazy K Committee

The Lazy K CMC 25th Anniversary Party was supported by a number of our founder members as well as many members who have supported the club over the years, past and present committee, Agents and guests visiting for the special occasion.

Lazy K Guests
To help us celebrate our event in style ‘The Hayley’s’ were our chosen act for the event. The Hayleys gave us a superb evening of varied county music that kept everyone dancing, listening, singing and generally having fun the whole evening through. The Hayleys
Our aim was to celebrate with a little style; reception drinks served by the committee, with a theme of silver for décor, some short speeches (and lots of “Thank You’s”!). A huge (52 prize) raffle. A few nibbles to enjoy and the two beautiful home made cakes made to mark the occasion. I think it is safe to say “A lovely evening was had by all”. Ann & Derek
